Drive your 4x4 in Cornwall and Devon on one of our adventure breaks and/or bring your mountain bikes to explore one of the many cycle tracks. (You can walk these routes if you prefer but they will take a large chunk out of your weekend).

Off Road Driving in Devon and Cornwall - 4x4 Adventures

We have a range of lanes and routes already completed and ready for use with planned stops along the way – unless of course you get stuck!

4x4 Off Road Driving days can be arranged on your behalf with prior notice subject to availability and conditions at local centres.

We welcome all 4x4 vehicles manufactured by Land Rover, Toyota, Isuzu, Mitsubishi, Suzuki, Ford, Nissan, Jeep, Vauxhall, and if you have a soft roader we will try to make sure the route is not too arduous.

Your 4x4 vehicle must be roadworthy and have some basic equipment for 4x4 off road driving. Please contact us with regard to this if in any doubt. Some equipment can be hired such as walkie talkies.

You must also be insured for all eventualities and your vehicle will almost certainly get scratched on some routes. It is also advisable to have breakdown insurance cover as part of your 4x4 guided off road driving tour.

You will have to sign a declaration regarding vehicle damage absolving us from any liability.

We do however follow the Green Lane Association (GLASS) guidelines so some routes may have to be aborted or amended as conditions dictate at the time.

You need to bring

  • Wellington Boots,
  • Waterproof Clothing,
  • Warm Clothing,
  • Sleeping Bags, and toiletries
  • and your CAMERA/VIDEO RECORDER of course!!
  • With regard to your vehicle you must bring your Certificate of Motor Insurance, MOT Certificate if appropriate, and Driving Licence(s).
  • Vehicles should also ideally have A/T’s (All Terrain Tyres) Towing/Recovery points, front and rear, spare oil water and fuel, and be capable of being made secure overnight or whilst cycling or walking.

It is not permissible to consume any alcohol if you are driving during the day. Any person deemed unfit to drive at any time due to alcohol or other substances (i.e. the morning after the night before) will not be permitted to take part in the day’s activities. The Tour Guide’s decision is final and no refunds will be made.
